Carpentry were given the job to replace four rotten porch columns.
As you can see from the first photo, the columns had rotted badly at
the base causing major concern. The posts held up quite a large pitched
porch roof which were also tiled adding to the weight. Our client opted
for square posts with new handrail and spindles. We replaced four posts
on two porch entrances along with new handrails and spindles. The porches
had been transformed giving them a new lease of live with the security
of knowing they were now safe again.
